It is possible to perform endoscopy and colonoscopy for outpatients and inpatients, perform necessary biopsies and polypectomy if necessary, control stomach and intestinal bleeding, diagnose cancerous masses in the stomach and intestines, insert pegs for patients hospitalized in ICU.

Endoscopy and colonoscopy are performed according to the discretion of gastroenterologists and if needed, these services are performed with anesthesia.

Also, control of stomach and intestinal bleeding in patients who have bleeding from the stomach and intestines and peg insertion for patients who need tube feeding are done in this unit. Patients who have polyps during colonoscopy, polypectomy is performed at the same time.

• To use endoscopy and colonoscopy services:

At first, the patient is consulted by the doctor of Moheb Mehr hospital clinic and the relevant request is given to the patient by the doctor.

Before endoscopy or colonoscopy, patients make an appointment by phone and are required to follow the instructions given by the attending physician.

In case of using different types of insurances, the patient goes to the relevant unit with his insurance book. If you don’t have a booklet, in supplementary insurances, according to the type of contracts, it is mandatory to have a letter of introduction from the insurance company in order to provide services.
